It should not be an issue? As this is for money and not points? You should be able to switch at will?

nothing wrong with a fill in but the fill in can not have a partner and the fill in will work for points for the established team. ill have the greys worked out before 2014 season

Yeah that will be an issue for some. And yes this is primarliy for the pot but BassGrabbers also does a championship at the end of the year and usually that is determined by points you accumulate throughout the year. It will be hard to keep up with points if everyone is switching partners all the time. But maybe we could scrap the points and just do this as a "pot" only tournament? I dont know we will see what Russ comes up with. Also these will not always be on a Sunday, we will probably alternate between Sunday's and Saturday's.

yeah it would be nice to keep up with points and all that but if everyone is switching "partners" all the time then it would be too big of a mess to keep up with I think. If we were to end up trying to keep up with points we would have to figure something out or maybe just find a reliable partner that you know will be there every time.

So as of right now..how many teams are going to show up? I have never fished the Trinity so this would all be new to me. Just looking to have some fun and hopefully catch some fish. So can you use your phone to take the picutres and just a regular old tape measure?

I use my phone, and a lot of guys use tape measures. If you have any knowledge of bass fishing you will catch some, this place is great. read the rules, and come and see what its about, you will love it.

We will start fishing at 7. You will want to get there a lil bit early 6:30 or so for registration. $50 yes but split between you and your partner $25/ea with $10 of that going into the big bass pot. If You do bring just a tape measure be sure it's a nice wide one and easy to read and don't forget to have your identifier in the picture as well. However I reccomend going to Academy and getting the Plano bump board measuring stick for $8. Then take you a black or red sharpie and go over the numbers. Much easier to measure and take pics of the bass over a tape measure. Trust me you learn how much of a PITA it can be trying to use a tape measure to measure your fish.

I wish this was closer...I am still considering going, but its a longshot and I would still have to find a partner. Also, I agree about buying a board from Academy. I recently did my first tourney with these guys and the meauring tape was a serious hassle. Apparently fish like to flop around quite a bit.
fatty has more posts than you. I have more beer in my garage right now than you!

When we actually start up this trail we will try and have a good mix of East and West locations!

not sure how easy this will be to see for you guys but this will be my proposed boundaries for the event. We can open it up some more if you guys want but this is what I'm going with for now.
