Does anyone take their kayak cart on the water with them? If so how do you do it...pics please. I was going to build one and just use the rear scupper holes and then when I go paddle I was going to just put it on the back and down through the same holes. I don't want to leave it near a ramp or stash it. I always think someone would take it if they saw it. How does everyone else do it?

Yeah, I used to do that some years back before my trailers. With my trailers I can secure the carts while on the water. I used bungee cords to secure the cart to the yak.

Fold up cart, tied with bungee cord.

Maybe it is just me...but...no way would I put a yak cart in my scuppers. Scuppers are where many leaks develop. Call your yak seller. Rich

Fold up cart, tied with bungee cord. +1 Just in case you need to move to a honey hole across a meadow or other piece of land. Sure beats dragging your yak around and possibly damaging it.

scupper cart flipped upside down in the tank well or if I am using my C-Tug, I'll just break it down and put it in the hull.
