Had a great turnout tonight! Almost 20 entries!! Thanks to everyone that came out to fish. Pretty slow night overall. Took a 5.20 for first place and a close second with a 4.89. Looking forward to next Thursday!

fish Just recently 'discovered' Lake Arlington, thanks to WCBASS ! It's not too big and pretty lake and love the launch ramp and fees are not too steep!
So much I joined....will be fishing more often, hopefully with my buddy WC ...
I just saw ya'll had 'night tournaments'. What are the hours of these tournaments?
Any more scheduled for the future?

Kris, lets do a lil 4th of July, "Fishin and Fireworks" tourney this week! I have a busy week so I don't want to be in charge in case I'm running a little late but I would def like to trouble the waters! Let me know!

So am I reading it correctly fellas, that there is NO Lake Arlington tourney this Thursday?

I'd imagine the lake will be tremendously packed anyway, with many people who ONLY get on the lake on the fourth.

Yea I say we don't do one this Thursday and try to get a big showing for next Thursday evening, July 11th!
There has been a lot of interest in having a stringer tourney, so since its 6-9pm, lets get a vote on having a 3 fish stringer tourney on the 11th.10 people or less pays one stringer and one big bass, 11+ pays 1st and 2nd stringer and one big bass. $30 + $5 BB.

Just a thought, if there's not enough interest then just big bass will work too! Let us know what you think!

3-fish sounds awesome! That's what we did in the Arlington tourney's about 10-12 years ago. It was kinda fun to see what weights a 3-sack would bring!

Its fishing fellow's tourney..... Unless someone else is going to weigh and run it then it is his rules. Big bass only. I think part of the draw is it only being 20 bucks, and if I am not mistaken he only has a hand scale.

For 4-5 years its been Mike Benz tourney... I've ran a couple and "Fishinfellow" has ran some... 3 fish stringer or big bass is the question... If its big bass only then $20 is great but I think a stringer tourney will draw a bigger crowd, which is why I suggested it. Either way, I have a new basket scale and "Fishinfellow" and I will get together and decide. Regardless of 3 fish or 1, I think the $20 entry keeps it fun!
