maybe i've gotten sloppy with polamar knot tying..watched a "wired to fish" youtube video, and he did a couple of things different..i've had this spool of line for awhile, and have not had the problem till very recently. The line guides look good..I'm still not sure what it is..maybe i need to lay off the weight lifting!

KVD is water based, Reel Magic is petroleum based.

I've used reel magic on all my FC for a long time with no problems.

Never put it on the knot and predominately tie Palomar.

Again guys Reel Magic has no Flurocarbons in it. You can use it on any line.

Doesn't really matter what it says on the can. The KVD is better. Period.
