I have the pro cull rings as well, but I also have the old Xtools culling rings. So I removed the pinch clips from the hold ones and clipped it to the Pro cull rings. I take a rubber band and wrap it 2-3 times around the pinch clip and it works great. I change the rubber bands about every 4-6 months. No more poking holes and one can lift the fish up with the rings if needed.
