Anyways, the last couple years I have caught my best fish right before generation, and during generation, but this year has been completely different, I have still caught lots of fish, but not in there usual spots, I haven't been able to catch hardly any strippers in the top pools, and the main pool in the deep pocket right in front of the north east rock island, there is a gigantic school of 10"ERS I have been catching the 20" fish by the the stumps, on the east side of them, also on the Oklahoma side, the east side of the peninsula has some fish too, on any given day I can catch 10" stripper one after the other, you really have to fish for those bigger ones, I would say 1 every 25-50 cast I guess.

Go to lure: 1. Bucktail with fluke, bouncing off the bottom
2. Flutter spoon, let sink and reel fast pause, if you don't know the river don't use these, but they catch big fish.

Shad is the ticket, they will bite cut shad of that's all you can get

The more we try, someone's going to catch that 40lber

Dang you only fish for 10" stripers????? maybe you meant 10# or 10lb!! rolfmao

You don't always need a boat..
But gosh darn it, sure helps!
