I will not throw a jig or t rig on anything lighter than 20. I have broke off fish on hook set with 15 invisx. Flipping jigs in heavy heavy cover I use 25lb invisx. You can pull a whole tree in with that stuff. Never loose jigs with it. Just bend the hooks. Straitened them out and fish on.

The trouble I've had with 15lb was due to some igit not retying after catching a couple fish.

20lb InvizX
I would never forgive myself if a fatty broke off on light line on that lake. Also the line brushes up against timber often or the big girls will run you around it. Just my $.02 +1

I've caught plenty of 7-9 LB bass and a 13.1 lb SAL last year on 10 lb invsx. You have to get bit before you fight the fish and you have to be confident in what you are using to keep that big girl from getting back in the stumps once she comes out. so start with that 12 lb fluro. and go up and down until find something that works for you.
