I would like to thank all of the anglers that came out to support this event, and thank all of the many sponsors, without you this event would not have been possible nor would we have been able to raise the much needed funds for the families of the first responders that lost their lives during that tragic incident.

I have had the opportunity to host many benefit tournaments over the past 9 years, and cannot express how impressed I have been with the way the individuals that came together to organize this event in the very short time they had to make this a reality. I would like to thank the Celina Bass Club, Ray Hubbard Bass Club, McKinney Bass Club, and NTBA. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to assist with running the tournament, it was an honor to work with each of you.

This was a first tournament for both me and my wife. It was great to be a part of this benefit event, and we both had a lot of fun and look forward to competing in more events. We were fortunate enough to win a couple of really nice rods in the raffle and are grateful to the sponsors that donated them. I also feel like a winner because now my wife understands the functionality of the newer/bigger bass boats and she can't stop talking about how we need one. As soon as she's out of law school (1 year left) and working... So I must say thank you to everyone involved in making this event happen.
