All of the plants on the coast need to set up to use sea water. They can afford to remove the salt, they do in Saudi Arabia and irrigate thousands of acres for cotton and wheat. Makes you wonder how much kick back Perry is getting out of the water sales. I know it has hurt the economy all along the Brazos.

The buoys don't mark the river channel by Port Ridglea. Actually the river channel runs through the middle of the trees and goes over to the other bank. I don't know why they marked it as a channel in this area.

200hawk21 you are correct. I was running the lake last week for the first time. Trying to get my new SHO broke in. I noticed the same thing. The buoys go one way and my lake map shows the river channel going through the trees. I slowed down and followed my GPS. plenty of water over by that bank

Catslayer, Didn't see anyone catching anything. Tried trolling some near bridges but no luck. IE: City park ramp. Is there anywhere to beach or tie up boat if you are buy yourself? Also what is parking like there on weekends for truck and trailer?
