Lakes should be for fishing only! Jet ski and ski boats are a waste of our natural resource. Lets start a petition. Well lets put a clause in it, jet skis can be allowed if the person on it is a hot woman in a bikini.

I'm so looking forward to today. Go to church, Grilling baby backs in back yard, swimming in pool with kids and their friends, watching Rangers, and then we'll find an hour around 5 or 6 for some of the best entertainment a person could ever imagine, down at the local boat ramp. Chairs will be put out so we don't fall from laughing so hard. My poor boat misses goin on holiday weekends. HMD!

What gets me is the people that CANNOT back a trailer. I would practice at home in the driveway for 2 hours before I came to the ramp and looked like a fool if I were these people.

I live about 4 miles from the lake and I went fishn Saturday morning. Left the house at 5:58 and I was idling away from the ramp at 6:09....by myself. Was a different story when it got time to load up.

My wife has one. I put her on it at the top of the ramp back her down and let her go. Same speed as my boat. Takes about 2 minutes start to finish.
Those guys just have to be told how to do it the next time. It helps if you have a couple of football line to help you explain this!
Retirement best job ever.

Yeah had a jacka$$ on Athens yesterday back his two jet skis down the ramp with the covers still on. Then had to get everyone ready. 15 minutes later they finally put them in the water. Unloaded and loaded close to 7 bass boats next to him during this time. I guess he couldn't get out the air conditioning while waiting in line to take care of this stuff. Gotta love to holiday weekenders.

I love the guy on Livingston that will pull his boat out the water and park with it feet from the water while exchanging money or telling his clients/friends bye. I've had to wait on this dude for over 20 min before. Crazy how naive some people can be

I have no problem with my boat, that said all of my buddys have different style trucks. I hate trying to figure out how to kill lights on some of the new trucks, then the other guy has his lights on in the next lane cant see chit trying to back down. I almost forgot I am vertically challened so have to adjust mirrors and seat.LOL.

I loaded up at Jordan ramp on Roberts yesterday, all the bass fishermen came in at one time to load up, it was smooth as silk, you throw one pleasure boater in there that has no boating experience and you have a soup sandwich.

Sometimes they bring good-looking semi-naked women,....and all of sudden everything's good again. On weekends and holidays, I lurk in the bushes, so to speak. And, I go fishing during the middle of the week.
Need to improve my LMB fishing, running out of time.

Rec boaters are completely different people than fisherman. Most fisherman have all of their stuff stored in there boat already or they stop in the proper area to put things in. Too many rec boaters take 15 tries to put the boat in the water, then think they are supposed to load up the passengers and all of their carry-ons at the ramp. It's bad enough on a regular weekends; it's 100 times as bad on holiday weekends. Was at the Wallisville launch on the Trinity river yesterday. The parking lot was overflowing. Due to another committmdent, we got off of the water around noon. It just so happens there was a bad storm cell coming from the southwest. If it hit the Wallisville launch, I bet the boat ramp was CRAZY!
