Back to Walter E Long Lake (Decker). My family has started fishing on the days my wife is off work (I'm retired now)during the week. I want to check this Lake out. We only can fish off the bank. Me & my 13 yr old son fish for cats but my wife fishes for perch or bass. She is just now getting to where she can cast with her Zebco Rhino reel. Can she use a float with a leader (w/split-shot weight) & live minnow there ? From the map, there is a parking area close to the damn & looks like an old boat ramp (to the north of it looks pretty mossey).
