We got some awesome rain out at canyon lake last 24 hours. I hope it makes canyon rise a bit.and reopen some boat ramps. Going back out tmaro to try to rip some lips.

After bieng chased of the canyon lake Friday nite by luming lightning in the distance and the weather radar lite up like a Xmas tree, me and Alex and my daughter only manage some small crappie and 2 keepers in a couple of hours in toms creek. Kmhendu was also there with the same results as us and left when the drizzle started. So last nite me and my best fishin partner head back out to canyon to try agian with the weather finally cooperating. We started bass fishing an hour bfor dark and several dinks landed and on decent bass in the boat. On came the LEDs rite bfor dark and almost immediately the bite was on and didn't stop over 5 hours with alot if crappie bieng boated and alot if them just shy if the keeper mark. Even had a school of whites show up but mostly shortys also. By nites end we had 19 keeper crappie and 3 nice whites. And all the keeps we're a better quality size fish for the fryin pan. I really like the fact that I no when I go fishing at nite with the LEDs glowing when I get home all I have to add is French fries and hush puppies....

Headed back out to canyon this weekend a couple of nites. Weather looks good and hopin the fish cooperate for us and hopefully add some more pics to this post by weekends end.

is this an easy install,as i'm not mechanically or techno inclined?

The LEDs are very easy to install. 2 positive wires. 2 negative wires and run wire from pos. and neg. from a battery. It comes with a switch just hook up with the inline fuse thru positive post from battery. The LEDs have 3m adhesive or Velcro to stick on the boat. If u need any help just send me a msg. I'd be glad to help u.
They are well worth the investment. I have 2 sets on my boat. And they have paid for themselves 10 fold!!

Went back to canyon lake this evening. A couple dozen small crappie with a few skinny keepers we threw back also. Hooked a couple stripers my partner landed the only one. still trying to get boat rigged out,how many kits will I need for a 21' center console?

I have 2 sets that's 12' of LEDs on each side of my 15' tracker Jon boat. I would put atleast 2 sets on UR boat. U could actually fit 3 sets. Just depends how muck $ u want to spend. Get with Alex of 1st class tackle he has the LEDs and will set u up.

These are a few of the nicer fish we landed Friday nite on canyon lake and depth finder with down image view with bait fish and fish under bait. Called it a night at dawn as the nite tapered off. Another great trip with my LEDs.

A 4 day weekend starts tmaro. I will be headed back out to canyon lake for a couple of nites. In search of the nite bite agian. I have high hopes of filling the live well with crappie a d catch a few stripers. Pics soon to come!!!
