So it's getting warmer and we all know what that means.....every yahoo with a ski boat or jet ski are hitting the lake. Well, that's not the only thing the are hitting! Brandon Dillard's vehicle got the left rear door smashed in, no they didn't leave their info AND some one backed into my trailer broke off my LP and messed of the fiber glass on my trailer......

I think I will be launching from the back dove loop ramp on weekends now. Katie's woods was ridiculous today.

Wife and I waited to hit the lake after the tournament crowd was gone. We got there at 4:00 and the ramp was insane. A guy in a black pathfinder took about 30 mins to trailer his boat - on trailer, off trailer, on trailer, dude gets in water, dude gets in boat, off trailer, on trailer, and so on. Lake was almost as crazy as the ramp. Wife and I found a quiet spot and anchored up for a while. After traffic cleared we fished around the RockCrusher area and loaded up on the sandbass.

Grapevine gets real crazy on weekends this time of year. Fortunatly for me, I can fish during the week. Even crazies have to work. I imagine all lakes in the metroplex are that way ?

I know the feeling, Conroe is the same way. Its insane, jet skiers have the whole lake and they choose to dart in and out of the stump fields.

it is absolutely ridiculous. I was out there on Saturday, and there were over 7 boats waiting to trailer their boats. Looked like all of us were alone on our boats, so most of us were waiting to tie our boats to the dock. People were tying their boats up to the dock with people still in the boat! I know some people don't want to/dont know how to drive a boat well, But learn!! And on top of that, the guy that went to back his trailer down went right down the middle of the ramp and it took him about 3-4 tries to get his boat on his trailer.

Its so hard to keep cool when you encounter the inexperienced boaters on the ramps.But this will never change.I choose to just let it go and not get to me,well at least the best I can.Life is to short to get worked up and make yourself miserable over it.You just have to cope.

All I know is some SOB stole my plates of my trailer out there and now I am putting them on...taking them off every time I go. On a side note: Where do these people get the money to afford these bad a$$ wake board boats? Somebody has some great credit!!

Try PK with 2 one lane ramps,can't wait until summer gets kicked off. May park my boat until the fall.Have a 21 footer and the waves in the summer you need a 40 footer to compete with the waves. Had Fleado turn right in front of me yesterday but I had eye on him, he never saw me or looked behind him.

Same for Ray Hub, I went in the afternoon and tried 3 different ramps and there was a line at all of them. No point in even trying in the afternoon. First light until about 10 a.m. and then off the water...... it's the silly season, no doubt. Forget weekends.

The REAL World is on your door step- as time goes on it will get worse as well as the water uaeage which will help us all realise the purpose of the lakes to start with

sorry you had damage Justin and Brandon. we were the only boat at Catfish 5:45 AM, I'm sure some others launched there for tournament later. it was crowded when we got back. frickn idiot not only gets the boat ready for launch while blocking ramp they were also blocking Jim from backing truck out of parking. if you are going to be an idiot and block the ramp at least back all the way down so you aren't blocking the trailers TOO!

I do wonder how many sailboats, kayaks, and skiers bitch about 70 MPH Bass Boats crossing the lake back and forth.

Had to replace both my fenders after someone clobbered them in the state park parking lot on T-wak last year. $500.00 a piece. Of course there was no note left. Honest folks are very difficult to find anymore.
