 11.24 Pound Gal on Mother Hubbard Today / Confidence / Video

Rangers win so lights out Friday night, check phone alarm 3 or 4 times battery life at 98%. Still not certain on my lake of choice for Saturday morning...Fork because it is Fork, no other explanation needed on this forum. Mill Creek because I simply love that little lake or Mother Hubbard because I have lots of confidence there right now. Wake up at 1:30AM to check alarm again and 96% battery life; still not sure which lake but Fork sure feels right. Awake again at 3:45AM...You can never check those phone alarms too many times when it comes to fishing but as I toss and turn Mill Creek would surely be good today. Doze off till 4:30AM; certain my alarm did not go off or phone battery went dead my heart skips a beat...nope 94% and 30 more minutes of sleep scheduled. Now I have come full circle as I lay in bed and stare into the darkness thinking I should just go to Mother Hubbard. She has been good to me lately and I feel like She is my best chance for numbers but DANG the thought of breaking my PB lies with Fork but this morning I go with confidence. I read a post on here about confidence vs skill and which was more important...today I have my answer...The lake, bait and area I have most confidence in blessed me with my PB today...She was an 11.24 beauty measuring 24-3/4 inches. A special thanks to David for shooting the video of Her release and wackEmaster for letting me confirm Her weight.

We were the lucky guys that got waved down today to use our scale to confirm the weight. This was the biggest fish I have seen in person. Absoluetly beautiful fish ducts27.Congrats!!! P.S. I think you were still shaking as we took pictures.

That's great! Love it when they don't go to the bank! Pics and right back in the lake! I had no water in my livewell when I caught her and was worried about getting her back in the lake as soon as possible. She looked strong and healthy as She swam away so I hope She will live to fight another day.

Congrats on the PB. That was a beautiful fish. Looks like she was very healthy when she swam away. I hope to catch one like her soon
