Was out there last night saw 2 large ones caught - but mostly slow - and almost all that were caught were under sized.

Update.
The fishing has been fare at night good in the AM. My buddy fished last night left with 12 really nice crappie. The sand bass have been movie back in. This AM a guy got a 15lbs blue.
We are still getting them in the shallow at night and inside in the AM.
I have been testing the Slab Bandit out. This AM I got 7 nice ones got a lot of throw backs. The colors that I have been doing good on are TX toast and sour grape!
The only Reason I have not been posting is the fishing is really on and off one day we kill them then the next day they stop! Don't want to report good then everyone get Skunked. Just trying to be Honest with y'all and let y'all have the best Opportunity to get some nice crappie.

At this time of the year really on and off is going to be the case anyway.
The creeks have been tuff just as the barge on one day and off.
You just have to roll the dice Id like to say at least at the barge you can talk to others if it good or bad fishing is fishing not just catching. Wish it was always catching LOL
Remember you should have been there yesterday LOL thats what I always find.
Just get out and fish and enjoy the event catching is good but not is good to.
Id fish first before working the day.

was out there tonight, caught 8 keeper crappie & 1 sandbass. I was out there from 9 PM till 2 AM
Caught at least 40 little sandbass. They kept it fun between the keepers!
Caught them all out on the far left point under the light right under the barge from 2-6' down.
I was using 2 rods; 1 with a minnow, 1 with a jig. They seemed to flip from wanting one or the other about every 15-20 mins or so. Jig was most effective casting, with a slow retrieve and a small jig head to keep it near the top.
I started off using the night time barge fave Bobby Garland Black Guam, but after no bites after an hour I switched to Bobby Garland Mo' Glo Twilight - and they could not get enough!
Hope this is useful to anyone considering going out there!
