Hit some local fishing spots and boy did I hit pay dirt! I located a bunch of GIANT GILLS and it was lights out fishing. I caught ten Gills with seven of em in the 10 inch range. The other three were almost 10 inches. All of the fish were healthy,fat, and I think sitting on nest. Fish were caught in shallow water 2 to 4 feet deep using worms and a float technique. All of em were drag pullers on the ultra light and most of the fish were either close to a pound, or a little over a pound. Rounding out the catch were a couple of nice Bass that were both 14 inches each and very fat. All fish were released to breed again and or getting back on their nest. Finding and Catching some SUPER GILLS. It just don't get any better!

Side Note: After a Great day on the water I headed to the Corner Cafe and had a super Chicken Fried Steak with my son.

Thanks Guys for the replies. "CoC Angler": Bank Fishing is hard to beat especially when you find some Monster Fish. Oh yea a super restaurant with super food makes it a whole lot better.

cali has been tough fiding rios this year and yes fishing time has been limited this year .
