why is it that so many people love the fluke? well besides the fact that they just plain catch fish... fished weightless walking the dog is so darn FUN!!!! maybe my fav way to catch em!!! caught about 40 this afternoon right before the rain hit ...every cast was a BOOM ... LOVE IT!

Don't know what lake you were fishing but it's very possible the shad have been spawning there recently.

I like to fish them with just a small rattle as weight.

I like.fishing it fast either weightless or split shot. I like seeing em go after it and seeing it dissapear in their mouth..

Sounds like a great day of fishing, I like using a weighted hook and using a spinning rod with braid tied to a fluorocarbon leader.
