Check out the TPWD website. Mercury is concern for ALL Texas Coastal Waters. Blue Marlin, blackfin tuna, little tunny, crevalle jack, swordfish, wahoo, all species of sharks and king mackerel (king is not new I think).

I am pretty sure mercury is a concern in all Texas waters thanks to "clean" coal. Guess those species hold more mercury in their system though?

The longer lived a species is, the more mercury they are able to sequester in their tissue. That's why, for instance, king macks over 35" are not recommended for children or women of child bearing age. The fish have lived long enough at that point to become dangerous.

My, what a mess we have made for ourselves.
