Woke up on Saturday Morning and looked like a chipmunk.
Sunday morning the swelling is even bigger.
I've had these before but this one is Special.
Amoxycillian 500mg, 24hour Allegra D, and Vitamin C any other suggestions.

I used to get sinus infections a lot. I was in Wyoming working and one hit me. Went to a local Dr. He took 2 of those long wooden Q tips, dipped em some sorta red stuff and shoved em up my nose, then had me lay on my back for about 1/2 hour. Burned like he//. I haven't had any sinus problems since

I have a sledge hammer and some free time tomorrow...I can make it so those sinus issues won't annoy you anymore. Let me know.

The best way to deal with sinus infections, is to not let it become a sinus infection. At the first sign of a runny nose, I begin to drink OJ and popping Halls cough drops to dry up my sinuses...I eat 'em like candy.

There is some nasty sinus/respiratory stuff going around. You might want to add something like Mucinex(guaifenesin) to that mix to break up the goo.

I went through seven months of recurrent sinus infections with each new one a little worse than the previous one. I took anti-biotic, used the neti pot, had a huge pot of water on the stove to add moisture, used bactroban nasal ointment inside my nose, and finally had to go to the ER twice. The first visit the doc was a young guy who could not do anything without looking at his phone. Plus I blew his mind when I told him all the antibiotics I am allergic to. He took no x-rays, no blood, tests, and put me on another seven day course of 2000 mg of Keflex. Two days after I finished the Keflex I was back in the ER, at a different hospital, with an extremely high white blood cell count and bronchitis. It took four solid weeks of Cipro twice a day to finally kick out the infection.
Do not let it get that far.
Everyone sinuses are screaming this past week. I was dizzy at the grocery store yesterday and my ear is getting blocked up at times too.
The neti pot did not touch the blockage either. I always wash the neti pot with hot soapy water and rinse it in the hottest water I can stand. I even started sterilizing it in boiling water after each use thinking that maybe there was bacteria that was not killed by soap and hot water. I always use distilled water in it as well. It still did not help.
We sure need a good hard rain to wash some of these allergens out of the air for a few days.

Get a large syringe without the needle and draw up a mixture of warm water and sea salt. Then inject it into your nostril with as much force as you can handle. About two or three times in each nostril.

Do not use tap water unless you boil it for ten minutes and let it cool enough where it will not burn you. Some folks have infected themselves with little organisms using tap water in neti pots or doing what RL206 said.
Use distilled water or tap water that you have boiled for at least ten minutes.

TexasBlonde, I switched from the Neti Pot to the Squirt Bottle rinse and find it is both easier and seems to do a better job of flushing out. I too use bottled water and make sure to clean it before use and rinse it after use. I do this twice a day for the past 15 months and have not had a sinus infection since. I will heat the bottle with the water and salt mix in the microwave for ~10 seconds. Just right temperature. Of course I started this routine right after having sinus surgery to have my deviated septum fixed. If anyone has a restriction on one side, it will make you more prone to infections.
