If I had the cash I would buy two of em, that way when one got dirty I could drop it off to get detailed and then go get its twin and go fishing! rolfmao

Not sure if its a Ranger?

Check and see if the seats and carpet are coming apart. If they are, Its a Ranger.

Most guys can either catch fish or they can't no matter how much their boat cost.

Well if you don't care what they make or have in the bank, then why do you care what they spend it on? It's obvious you actually do care or you wouldn't bother commenting on it.

It's your money, spend it on what you chose. You can call it weekend pro or whatever you want but your opinion doesn't matter because you didn't write the check. Hell I've spent more on a single Scotty Cameron putter than most people spend on graphs. I earn that money, I save some, I spend the rest on what I like and it's no one's business but my own just like the rest of these guys.

I agree with most of what you say, and I have spent money on that same putter, but I'm not going to say it was a good deal. I'm going to say they are overpriced but it was what I wanted....that's the truth I believe. The $75k boat is overpriced and not a good deal....but if that is what you want, go for it...it's your money.

It's not just bass boats - I saw a tri-toon with twin 300 verado's on it online the other day... maybe they think if people stop paying it the prices will come down... (if you believe that I've got some nice beach front in North Dakota for ya) - someone will always pay it....(man I saw the most amazin battle ship today, BC Jaguar - man that is one sweet ride...)

The amount of pressure the fish get these days compared to back in the day is crazy. If you want to compete you need to keep up, otherwise those with the new advantages will kick your butt. If you just fun fish do you need it? No

People still catch good fish in jon boats. We racing or fishing? Sure all the new stuff helps but people can compete without a 75000 dollar rig. That being said, I don't begrudge anyone anything. Personally all I want is a 10-15 year old 18.5 ft bass boat with nice electronics that I don't have to write a big check for every month.

As far as the over complicating fishing: when I first got back into fishing and bought a boat 2 years ago, I had a great year of fishing. Just used what looked good and didn't think about it much. Second year, over analyzed everything to the point it locked me up.

the manufactures realized long ago that lots of bass fishermen are wannabee bass pros or least want to look like them plus they like to look good at the ramps. So the manufactures reel in these type fishermen with high dollar bs.

If you can fish, you'll be able to catch them out of a jonboat, uou wont need $50k+ bassboats. Nowdays its all about how you look for many.

i prefer fishing for high school drop outs and for 70g it should come with a fishing valet to tie knots, take fish off, and load and launch boat
