Man those are some good looking baits, how much would all the supplies cost if I wanted to get into painting old crankbaits? Do you buy patterns and how much is a decent airbrush cost? Thanks

Decent airbrush is gonna run you 100 dollars. Then you got the paint at 5 dollars a bottle. I dont use patterns all mine are freehanded. I just see it in my head and start painting. Thanks for the compliments parker. I almost kept that little n for myself. It did turn out great. You ought to see these Bagleys I got done. Will post pics in a few.

Do you clear coat them afterwards? Those look great!

Yes, i use a couple different topcoats depending on the bait and what i am doing.

Mine are dipped in epoxy I think cus the glitter is under a thick clear coat dont know what he uses though.

I use createx, folk art, paints. Hobby lobby carries the createx and walmart carries folk art.
