Double dang nice one Mr. Thompson! There was no way of stopping you of breaking into the 60's.Keith is one of only 2 people that I had shared info about this swim with last summer. He p.m'd. me and I told him where we were hauling when times were tough elsewhere.Congrats Keith.

Nice! That is one impressive run! I'm gonna have to give those fruity peach boilies a try. I've been using pineapple and tooty-fruity but that hasn't been too helpful lately. That Buff is beautiful.

I would just like to add that the other person I shared info about the swim was Scott because he was the one who was nice enough to share with us that he had done well there. I kept black out pictures and did'nt share info with anyone else to protect the swim from being overfished.

You asked that someone get into the sixties and so it shall be....... I fished this swim about two years ago when I first moved to Austin, but had to confirm that it was the same place you had been fishing.

Lake Austin has some lumps for sure. As usual, very impressive angling! Congrats on the pb, that's an amazing fish!

I 'm a little dissapointed because I helped you out by telling you where we were fishing on the grounds that you would try to keep it quite which you agreed to. I feel like I burned Scott on this one.Gosh Keith, you even used the same peach flavor. Here is the transcript. Can you keep it to yourself the best you can Keith? The swim will be hammered if we spread the word to much.We have food fisherman and others just showing up to watch and the bow fisherman are really hammering the area, also saw a huge dead carp floating by yesterday, and my son saw them shooting recently. It's been non-stop hauling action for the last four sessions the biggest problem is keeping lines in the water. Keith's answer "No problem about keeping it to myself.I share with no one unless the person who shared with me OK's it first".

I highly doubt that swim is much of a secret. I know Mike and I had scouted it once before, without anyone telling us where it was, including Keith. There was a group of guys fishing the other end of the ramp while we were there even. There was a bunch of foot traffic that day as well, all of which saw us haulin.
Well done, Keith! Congrats on the new PB! Beautiful fish.

Kevin I think it was a local secret until today. I know many who knew. Even old Don blacked out a ten pounder there.I'm still willing to hug this thing out at the next WCC event. It is really about keeping your word. I will give Keith the first hug.

I completely understand your concerns about over fishing a swim, and bow fisherman. Blacking out the background of photos isn't the solution though. The amount of pressure a swim has seen recently is always a consideration when its time to decide where we're going to fish, and we encourage everyone to do the same.
We'll have your hug waiting for ya at the next WCC event lol.

I'll be waiting with open arms.People really need to accept black outs, but I think its to late.We are working on very nice faux background.Posting pictures causes swim backup.Another words you get up at 5:00 in the morning and there is all ready a group of anglers in your swim.We would not ever ask them to share because it would not be in the fish best interest.
