If I could be certain that it was a big flathead under that rock I'd do it in a heart beat.
Also just a little input from me......A person doesn't have to keep every fish he or she noodles.

Saltwater doesn't scare me, I do all kinds of spear fishing and scuba stuff.
Freshwater scares me. Gar, turtles, snakes, gators. I'd spearfish clear water, but ill pass on the noodling deal.
Now you want a rush, lets go octopus wrastling in Port a. Talk about a weird feeling when they wrap tentacles all the way up your arm, leaving little circle hickeys for days. Just have to keep their beak away from your fingers!

I love noodling. Yes, it is dangerous. Had a few near misses with turtles and muskrats. I had a buddy scare a beaver in a shallow water hole. It slapped the crud outta him right across the chest so hard that blood ran out of the pores in his skin. Down south I'm leery of gators. I wanted to noodle the Brazos til I saw a giant gator slide. The thought of losing a finger to a turtle doesn't scare me near as bad as the thought of being drowned and shoved under a log by a gator, lol.
My passion...........figuring out the fish. I don't care what I catch!

I like noodling creeks the best, and I don't noodle around concrete. Only time I saw a guy almost drown was in some slab concrete with rebar and junk all in it

I'm flat out scared of the sport! What with all the stuff in the water, I'd probably be better off driving a scooter or crotchrocket down the interstate, or climbing towers for a living, or bull riding for 8 years, scuba diving in the dark, riding a horse across a bluff in colorado...drunk, defending my country. Oh wait a minute, I've done all those too. LMAO. Truth is I'm only gonna live once, and as the signature says, If I worry daily about what might happen, nothing ever will. Plan to try and make the most out of the time I have on this rock. Just personal opinion.
When and if they do get my guns...they will most definitely be hot and empty. Vera's PB=45.17 Jasons PB=76.94

It's a pass/fail IQ test. Rods and reels were developed right after the second caveman watched the first one drown from sticking his hand where it didn't belong.
