you know,, the Hueco indians who used to live along the banks of the waco river, built tall hut type mounds to live in.(the tallest of any indians known ).. They were different than any other indian tribe. They were very tall people. It looks exactly like what they built, but I just dont think the structure would have lasted this long, unless it was built out of a hardwood like CEDAR, bOIS DE ARC, ect. Also unless the local authorities just didnt know abt it, I doubt they would have flooded the lake and just left it there. Waco was originally dammed in the 1930s. then in the 50s or 60sw it was raised, and the new dam built. Then around 12 years ago, it was raised another 8 feet.

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

Nice shot of Bamboo with a Humminbird. hmmm Where's Keith.

Ok Bobby. Here keith is.... nannyboo

This is a pretty nice shot, but it is showing exactly what I am talking about. This Boo Structure is build with a lot of Boo sticking up, Thick in Boo, and it shows up well in these PICS.

My point about the Boo, is when it is this thick, you can only fish the edges of the structure. You have a real problem working a jig down inside the Boo Structure, and NO CHANCE of getting a fish out, if you get jig in. So, we have had to reduce the numbers of sticks of Boo in our buckets, to 5-6 pieces with limbs left on. That is still enough to attract crappie, but not enough Boo to keep you out of the pile when fish are holding tight to the structure, and will allow you to absolutely get the crappie out of the middle of the pile.

So this Boo in the PIC is several sticks of boo, throwing off a dence reflection for the SI to pick up, and a heavy shadow. As long as you are putting out Boo Structure like this, HB will not have a problem picking them up. But reduce the number of pieces of Boo to where you can fish it even when fish are inside the structure holding tight, and HB will not show this Boo Pile. My HDS will barely show it, and the HB will not. This is the point I try to make, but you guy keep running off with the HB Sucks idea of what I am saying. Look at the POST from Ahn on the Cedar Creek thread, and those are pic with his cell phone, shot off the screen. HDS-8 Gen 1

Actually we only use about 5 sticks per a pile, so I guess hummingbird is better then you say it is. Four on outside edges and one right in middle.

THIS should be intersting !! popcorn wonder what his reply will be this time.

These are from my Elite 5 DSI

Crappie hanging around a laydown.

This was a productive spot.

This is something that I thought was interesting and why I usually keep my unit on 455khz. You can see that there are 3 piles right here yet the 800khz only shows one of them, probably the closest to the boat.

I got most of my fish off this spot today.

Here is some shots of my bamboo condo. There are 12 sticks in these.
Here is a shot on 455 kHz.

Here it is on 800 kHz. (Very hard to see)
