Good weekend but dont get me wrong. This was not easy fishing. You wont go out and in 10 casts catch a big fish. You will fish all day 5:45 am to 8:00PM and if youre lucky get one good bite. Its not for the faint of heart. This lake requires dedication. Have it and you will get rewarded, if you dont have it, save yourself time money and energy and dont go.
That's how I've always found Ivie to be. I've caught a few monsters there (all on seperate occasions), and each time it was the only bite I had all day. I've had more days with zero than I care to think about at Ivie, but those days with one monster keep me going back there. That is a really sweet video too! I keep thinking I'm going to buy a yak and try it at Ivie, but I haven't convinced myself to do that yet.

A+ mike, will done will done. They just keep getting better and better. I most say it did yank at my heart a bit. At the end it made me feel like it was your passing video..lol. I guess it was the song at the end.. Im not passing yet.. I'm Staying Young forever like the song said!. See what 2 old guys, acting like kids fishing can do? By the Way, Thats My Daughter Katelynn who sang that song in the video. Tell Katelynn she did a nice job on the song and I want her to sing it when I see her

Mike this video is awesome brother. I need to learn how to do those pan, zoom-in, slow-mos that you do. Those really set the video off. Great job with the editing.
Thanks for sharing. I've never even heard of Ivie, where is it?

Thanks for sharing. I've never even heard of Ivie, where is it?
O. H. IVIE is in west Texas, just south west of Coleman and about 1 hour East and slightly north of San Angelo. It has a reputation for producing some huge bass.

Wow. Nice video and bass. I regret ever moving from San Angelo. That lakes has produced some nice fish for me. Ill be down there in 4 weeks. Hopefully the bite is still on then!!!
