[quote=Crankjig&drag]What your opinion on progressive ins?
Run From Them They Wont Pay Off If your boat is stolen from you been in court now for nearly 2 years and 20 grand on attorney and still nothing but he says they will pay in time but what if I did not have other boats to go and play and fish in what if it was my only boat then where would I be and what if I did not have the money for the attroney? Just think before you go with them] Sounds like one very short side of a very long story.

i also don't care how good they are, after the snopes post, i had my ins. agent change mine. they just don't fall in line with my beliefs, and what i vote for. again, thanks for posting that info about progressive.

I have heard good and bad just depends on your adjuster if you should ever need one. I have them but have never had a claim.

I had my new $26000 aluminum boat stolen from my home, had a agreed on price policy with Progressive, 15 days later had my check with extra $2500 for gear included, only one $500 deductible was incurred , they only checked for prior claims and credit report, better than expected service.

Well I have Progressive and traded boats call agent gave him the new data and when on about life. Well went to Falcon got a crack that couldn't be seen for the runner on the trailer . When I found it and carried it in Progressive is now making me go back and get proof of being at Falcon. So it seems that you need to to have you boat taken off the trailer and looked at and don't forget your lower unit.

Personally, I chose to try to stay away from companies whose Chairman of the Board and former CEO partners with the ilk of George Soros in supporting socialist and liberal causes. True, Lewis is not longer CEO, but he remains Chairman of the Board and his multi billion dollar fortune is dependent on the insurance company he inherited from his father. He is one of the largest contributors to ACLU and champions most all liberal causes.
Just a personal preference and everyone is free to send their insurance premiums to whoever they choose. I choose not to support Peter Lewis and his liberal causes.

I will be changing from Progressive to State Farm when mine comes up for renewal. They could cut rates in half if they got rid of Flo.You can change channels 15 times in 1 minute and she will be on 10 of them. Grand kids can't watch tarkoons with out a Progressive ad.It would help if she wasn't b-tt ugly.

I just filed a claim with progressive. Wouldn't cover because it was an occurrence that happened over time. Battery strap busted and the batteries were bouncing. Tore up the fiberglass pretty good. Said if it had been a one time hit/collision they would have paid.
All I can say is know what your policy says.
Not going back with them for sure.

Well im about to find out myself how good they r. Hit a stump 2 sundays ago , broke one ear off prop trashed lower unit gears. Called in claim on Mon after telling them what happened the first Question they ask is when was the last time i changed my gear oil? WTF has nothing to do with a collision, next question was when did u last change ur water pump, here again irrelevent. I hit a stump another fisherman saw it happen. So they tell me to take to repair shop ,adjuster goes by looks at it on Tuesday tells mechanic to tear it down so he can look at it. so he tears it down Wednesday, adjuster is suppose to go by Thursday doesnt show till yesterday. Mechanic cant get prop shaft out so he now wants him to rent a torch and cut it out. Hello the prop is missing one ear the drive shaft is broken in half the gears r trashed. Does this sound a little fishy, ive never had a claim zero deductible but i feel like im about to get the SHAFT!
Good Fishing.
