Great pics, pretty soon she will only need you to get the net. Great to see a new generation experiencing the joy of fishing.

I have a pic of my daughter when she was about that age holding a sand bass and wearing her little mermaid life jacket. I can remember how excited she was that she caught it all by herself. Cherish those memories with her, because they grow up fast. My daughter is 25 now and expecting her first child. Maybe in a few years I will get a chance to make another memory with my grandchild.

Hold on to that, for as long as you can. Time goes fast and before you know there not around anymore.

That's awesome! One of my fondest memories is my dad renting a canoe and paddling us down a rural creek while he talked about all the fish and other wildlife and how each thing effects the ecosystem in its own way. I was 6 or 7 and didn't care at the time. But I'd give *anything* to be able to do that again with him. Savor it! I blinked and now its a distant memory.

That smile on her face says more than any caption ever could

Great picture. I hope you get to take her many more times. My girls (now 41 & 44) went with me many times. They still talk about the fishing trips. Great memories.
