This morning's check shows Lake Tawakoni to be about 5.25 ft low. Its been a couple years since I've been out on T-wok, and might get to go out with a buddy this saturday. How are the ramps at this level? Any major hazards to make note of, prior to our heading out, based on the current water level? My knowledge is minimal at best. I knew of a couple stumps just out from the public ramp on the west side of 2 mile bridge, but again, its been a few years and I've not been out there with the water as low as it currently is. Would appreciate any navigational advice! Thanks, and tight lines.

Also, has the bridge construction made it any more difficult to use the ramp on the west side of 2 mile? (if its even usable based on lake level)

Hoping so. it would appear many have not been out there of late, based on the overwhelming response to this thread.

5.25 low. That's funny. Move the decimal one point to the right and that's about what amistad is at. Does 5 ft really make that much of a difference out there? Out west we call 5ft low full..

the west ramp is good. the east ramp is gone. no wake under 2 mile bridge. with the lake at the level it is most stumps are where you can see them. give the points a wide birth. i think it is actually easier running the lake right know.

Yes it does a lot of difference. Shallow water lakes don't have as much room for decrease as deep canyon lakes do.

I didnt realize there was that much difference. I'm used to seeing 100ft in the river channels out here. Or should I say I used to see that..

makes a HUGE difference. lots of ramps and baot docks are out of the water. Its already a shallow lake so it makes it fish small and can turn using the ramp into more of a circus than usual.

When you think you are going around a point far enough, take it out another 10 or 20 yards. Some shallow point out there.
