Good to hear they are still hanging around I plan on fishing there on Monday.

The lake. Only good cut bait is fresh cut bait. Don't fall for the frozen (mediocre at best) or preserved (never caught anything with it) cut bait or shad. Learn to throw a cast net for shad or catch perch, then ice em fresh in a cooler and cut up as needed.

Went out yesterday in the morning from 8-12. Caught 6 keepers two dinks and a tree. It was a quick trip but fun!

are there cast nets under $20 they seem way overpriced in my opinion

No cast nets that cheap unless you can find one 2nd hand. But but a cheap one 1st then buy a nice one. Academy has good prices on them.
Stop by the barge and I will show you how to use it. If you want.
