Planning to go out there tonight if everything plans out like it should just want to hook up with something other than weeds any advice on what they are hitting lately. I heard jigs but I don't know how to work them so unless y'all can teach me I'm going to need an alternative to that

I heard jigs but I don't know how to work them so unless y'all can teach me I'm going to need an alternative to that I am working tonight I can show you the ropes if you can use a jig you may try a minnow on a bobber in the shallows. But if the wind is bad it would be really had on you. Or you could just go under the lights out on the points. I will be there after 10.

The weekend bite was fare. No big numbers to report. Nights where slow. Morning was the best.

Update. Yesterday was a good bite all day. This morning before I left ppl where doing good. All nice fish. There was a 2.03 that I got a pic of. Fishing has been on and of the last few weeks but the last 2 days have been good. I hope it's gets better from here! There where some nice stringers going out that I did not get pics of. Sorry. PS: the barge now is stocking Slab Bandits! So come and get them! Save your self having to order them off line or driving to Garland or Hurst.

I have been on the creeks in the mud! LOL yep I need to get a barge fix. And I am sure the the barge needs a good smelling cigar in it now.

I am off tonight. But talk to the guy in that was working the AM he said everyone did really good. So I would think to night would be good too.

Most of the ppl in the AM use minnows but there is some they use jigs. I would say ppl have been doing a little better on minnow in the last few days.
