Going to lake Amistad today for the weekend. Hurd they are dropping the water 6 to 10 feet! Is this true?

It's dropping and it's bad, I'm hear they are gonna stop on the 27th we'll see! I hope, and I am praying.

Right at 3.5 ft since Saturday.I hope that there was some deep grass growing as that's all it will have going for the lake.

I was down there last weekend 54.5 ft low. Fishing was good though and interesting scenery on the old lake bottom

I'm curious to see the lake this weekend. It was already a different landscape last month.

The Park Service called me yesterday to let me know that the 454 Bridge is OFF LIMITS to launch from if you are fishing a tournament. Just thought I would pass that along.

I went this past weekend and launched out of and stayed at Rough Canyon. Hadn't been there since last summer and it's a different lake for sure. Here's few pics. I wish I had taken a pic of the San Pedro area from the 277 bridge but I didn't. It's nothing but dirt when heading south and looking east from the bridge.

Pray for rain.

According to the National Park Service the old Devils River dam was 16 ft below the surface as of 22 Apr.

Anyone heard that due to the automatic budget cuts taking affect at the end of the month that all national parks will be closed

I know I will be fishing the BLT this Saturday there, I was there last weekend and I will say that it was a grind for me, did a lot of water eliminating and very little catching. I am hoping to just scratch a limit.
