The F-5 Tornado, and Zoom Finesse Trick Worm are hard to beat on a shaky head for me! If you are on a big fish lake or the bass are active try a larger lure such as a full size Trick Worm or even a creature bait, just make sure your hook is big enough to fit the plastic. To keep from hanging up as often on Fork try to use jighead that is no heavier than 1/8 oz. The lighter jigheads seem to hang up much less in the timber.

Though we produce primarily swimbaits..we still produce some shaky head/DS worms time permitting in 8" straight tails with no salt/true color. Shoot me a pm with an e mail address and I'll get you a pic or two.

I apologize in advance for bumping an old thread, but I just noticed a trend here that needs to be addressed. There is no such thing as the best shaky worm as it highly depends on your setup and situation. But seeing that you just want a quick answer in a vacuum, I would have to go with the Zoom Bait Finese Worms.

Also, you may want to check out these recs if you want to hear some other opinions and reasons:
