Use Google Maps.....Directions....(From > McKinney....To > 380 Greenbelt Corridor).....there is a canoe and kayak area to enter the river.....I will also be there around 7AM Saturday
.....the river is the Elm Fork of the Trinity....the 380 Greenbelt Corridor is part of Lake Ray Roberts State Park....I am in the 2008 Scion xB...my name is Dave...

Yep, it is. I'm going to be on Big Mineral Creek at sunup today!!!
Got my jug lines and jiggin pole ready to go. Crappie and catfish need to be nervous. hooked

Was a great day on the water. I paddled up the creek until it was only about a foot deep. On the way I caught a LMB (19"), a crappie (12"), and a hybrid (19"). The creek is really low. I never found water over 9' deep so I never deployed my jug lines. The bank fishermen I talked to were crying about no fish. Wasn't my best day but wasn't my worst either. I'll make a trip post for Fri and Sat with pics a little later.
