Man, I really took my time and got the best deals I could find when I put this thing together. I paid for the rifle about 8 months ago from a supplier that sells Colts cheaper than anyone else. It was on backorder so I had to wait 8 months. I'm glad I ordered it then because Colt LE6920s are more than double the price now.

I got the Magpul furniture on clearance on a website that sells to military and police. The foregrip/bipod was on sale at Optics Planet and I had a 15% discount code and a free shipping voucher.

The Aimpont was on sale at a military surplus store and they're the only place on earth that had them in stock.

I know guys that have recently paid more for stripped down DPMS rifles than I paid for my whole rig. And mine's 100% milspec.

So just what are you going to use that rifle for?? Just curious as I have a couple of AR's I'm thinking of working over.

Since this is the only AR I plan on owning, I tried to make it a multi-use deal. I'll mostly use it for coyote and hog hunting and home defense if it ever comes down to that. I have handguns that I think are more fit for firing at intruders in my home. Rifle rounds tend to go through your neighbor's house and their neighbor's house....

And there's always the zombie apocalypse....

When the zombie apocalypse happens, I'm pretty sure Texas will be fine. Not so much the rest of the world.
