Day 2- In Search of Dolan

After an uncomfortable night on an island surrounded by dozens of no trespassing signs we awoke and get on the river early.....about 10 AM. Day 2 brought increased winds, improving water quality and our first few fish. We passed through sycamore chutes/ game warden rock and made Dolan Falls about 4 PM. After a 2 hour break at Dolan we started pushing down river and rapidly found ourselves at 3 tier falls. We all made it except one. One of us flipped his Hobbie and 3 tier claimed a Sage Z Axis 5 weight and Ross Gunnison Reel. He also had some pretty good cuts and bruises as well.

On the Road Again....

Ah yes, the prerequist back flip off the jumping rock at Dolan Falls. You are doing it up right!
Did you actually loose the rod or just bust it up?
