The Ascend FS128T. First trip yesterday. Tracks great! Heavier than the pescador. I think that was a big help. Went to Texoma and was quite a bit of wind. Handled great drifting the shoreline. My BF Roger was a great help in getting the Yak ready. He 90% helped me with rigging a trolling motor to it. Two hand operations - still doing PT. Hope to be back to at least 80% by end of June !!!!!! , and really paddle it Definitely will make some adjustments.
Take someone fishing and make them smile

I think it tracks well. A longer paddle is a must with the higher seat position in my opinion. You will not be the fastest yak out there but you will be certainly comfortable fishing all day. Everything is easily accessible and I have had a great experience thus far.

I haven't checked in, on the board in a while. I went and considered this yak again after my last post. I decided that I didn't like the storage on it, not a lot of options for accessory mounts etc... It did seem a bit heavy and bulky too. I decided to go with a Jackson Cuda 12 footer. Lots of options for rod storage, mounts, etc... I also liked the double seat hight adjustment on the cuda. I demo'd one on Ray Hubbard on Sunday and really liked. it. It is double the cost, but I think I will be happier with it in the long run
