I have a tiny one in my aquarium. We catch em at CC all the time. Some pretty big.
2 Bedroom Lake house on CC for rent. P.M. me!

I hear some of the east texas lakes got them in fair numbers I chatted with a tff guy who caught several over the weekend at CC and he said they were way bigger than the ft worth versions .... beautiful fish for sure ... congrats

I have heard them called Callico. We caught quite a few large ones on Whitney but only undersized as a whole on RH.

Cc is plum full of them. Saturday we probably boated 8 out of 50 or so caught.

We catch 3 or 4 every time we go out in East Texas..... (Wright patman lake), and the creeks off of her. They are keepers 12"-14" fish more often than not. I always get excited when I catch one, not sure why, just somethin different i reckon...
