Did that come with the hand held controller or is that a separate buy?

My Ipilot instuctions said not to connect the foot control if you are using the remote. This might be the problem for some out there but I did not stay a a Holiday Inn so I am not a certified tech. I did buy my HDS 8, IPilot, and MK charger from David & Shut Up and Fish though and I do know he is a great guy to deal with. Give him a call if you have any boating needs. I'm glad I did and so will you.

with the rsr bracket, I dont see where you put the pin after you slide it back to lay it back down. Do you have to drill a hole in the rsr bracket for the pin to go in ?

The two holes on the starboard side are for the pin. They are spaced 7" apart.

RSR is installing mine Wednesday. Cant wait. The bracket is a little pricy, but so is the ipilot. The bracket will be good insurance but you get the benefit it should solve the issues with the roller.

I have noticed as of yesterday that there is a fine line of how far the trailer is in the water and ramp angle, sometimes with mine it clears fine other times it don't, its a small trade off for such a great product.

I helped (well I tried to stay out of his way) Philip install one of his brackets last week. Put it and the new I Pilot to the test on Saturday. Can't believe I waited so long to get this! The bracket is super slick. My roller is definitely running up the nose of my boat with the low water, so I figured it was good insurance. Super easy to operate, pull the pin, slide it forward to the stop and put the pin it. Deploy, fish, and don't hassle with it until you are ready to load. Great product! Thanks Philip!

Y'all got me thinking real hard about getting one of these I pilots. Can it be added to existing power drive trolling motors like I did with the copilot?

It can be added to a powerdrive V2 and terrarova, but I dont think it can be added to the first gen powerdrive. I highly recommend getting one. JV had me tied off to his boat the other day and it held both his and my boat in place in wind blowing 5-10. I can't wait to get mine installed this week!

texting while fishing should be illegal. I dont allow cell phones on my boat or on the ranch.
