Keith, the way these things stick out you might want to consider one of these brackets from rsrlures.com. I didn't think I would need one but after a while I got tired of the Terrova hitting the bow roller.

Keith I've had no problem on either the CC or the bass boat hitting the bow roller...An extra bracket in my opinion would be a overkill.. Looks to me that you have that iPilot mounted PERFECT!! Your Triton rig has plenty of room.. Happy iPilot ing..... cheer

Thanks Diel , Thanks terry and Thanks Gene. I am going to see if it will work with out the plate. It seems to be pretty solid now and I think it will clear the bow roller. I was taking that into consideration when I mounted it but it looks like it will barely clear it.The old motor guide used to hit it on Harbor bay ramp but that is a steep ramp. I might have to start using the other ramp on the other side of the lake --LOL--. Thanks Diel for the suggestion. We need to hit Texoma when the top water gets going up there. Terry I think it will be okay I will know for sure when I try it out, Any way thanks both of you smile

Don't worry man, when it hits again on Texoma I'll get you and Todd back on the boat, at the same time! Should be good.

About the bow roller, some ramps is no problem, some others you can see it happen. Texoma, no problem. Hidden Cove in Lewisville, pretty much every time. You can tell my roller is pretty high.

Your install looks really good.

Thanks for thinking of me, Diel. I hear May is good to Texoma. Leanhorse and I been talking about bigT in May also.

Yeah, my roller is about a foot lower than yours so I never have that problem. I have a quick release mount also.

Something interesting I saw Friday. I was spotlocked on top of a small hump Friday and two buddies spot locked near me fairly close about 5 yds apart, with slight east wind. Mine is a riptide and theirs are the terrovas. So three boats spotlocked but every 5 minutes or so the two terrovas seemed to swirl and came close to making contact to my boat. I am not sure there are GPS signal interences or maybe there is a 5 yds range of compensation? But I zoomed in on my GPS trail and mine looks to be very spot locked. So that was interesting.

I'm on my third Terrova and third I pilot Link. Serious spot lock problems where the boat will go sideways into the wind, then catch up, then fall back, etc. Recorded a couple of videos and took plenty of pictures, the engineers said it was very odd. Sounds like theirs were doing the same thing.

At first I thought maybe the motor was not enough for the boat, but was told they test the 101 motors on a 24' ranger bay boat. Just seems like either the signal is being lost or the motor is too slow to react, then has to catch up.

At one time Double Dee David, DallasFisherman1 and I were yards apart and had no issues while we were Spotlocked.. It was like synchronized floating rolfmao in a stiff south wind... One other time in a more southerly wind Aaron's, GTN69 Clint's and my boat were about the same distance stacked one in front of the other and interesting enough no problem... Clint does have the Riptide and all others were the Terrova units.. And this was Saturday so maybe the satellites were more stable that day grin However the Spotlock is not PERFECTLY still at ALL times.. You will have a little play now and then but nothing alarming... Just trying to ease the drama- pilot for my good friend Plano Keith. Happy iPilot ing to ALL!!!!!!!
