For DFW/Frito Lay People..........
I have heard for years that the lake that is on Frito Lays corporate headquarters property in Plano is full of DD bass.

Someone told me that a couple of times a year, they allow fishing for employees only and otherwise, no fishing allowed
and that they even have security that keeps poachers at bay.

Anyone know - Urban legend or truth?

Several bass over 10 lbs. were caught years ago , But now you have to work for them ,and they will only let you go a couple of times a year. Security is very tight and they say you will go to jail for tresspassing.

Yes, they're there. I work at another corp in legacy park and occasionally walk the jogging trails that cover their property. Which is permitted as long as your part of Legacy Park and STAY on the trails. No fishing or hunting signs posted. Have seen some nice bass, koi, and even whitetail. Have seen Beaver traps with live beaver in them. They relocate them. Have a coworker that was a member of one of the corporate softball leagues they used to have in that area. He arrived early for a game one day and while waiting, casted a lure a few times and pulled up three 5lb+ bass. Security was all over him. They have the trails and woods wired. A guy I used to work with whose spouse works at Frito told me they only hire retired police and military for their security. So, if you screw around over there, you'll get caught.

I've heard you will definitely go to jail if you get caught sneaking in. The security at that park is no joke.
