that little lake is full of nice bass, unless it went dry again in the last couple of years.

blue fleck Berkley tx rigged worms. Senkos, and jigs. The lake has a ton of bullfrogs is it but don't know if they would be hitting a frog yet or not. I've gone up there with the kids just to gig frogs. If the water is up there are some big rocks just off the north side of the island, sometimes the fish are ganged up on them but I doubt they are righ now but be careful if you go around that end of the island. Also there will be submerged barbed wire fences and T post in the creek channel to the west of the island, or there will be T post, I might have dragged all the wire out with my lower unit a couple of years ago. The rip rap along the dam should be good if you can get past the brush that is grown up, it has a lot of brush grown up all along the banks but if you can get behind it you might get your are broke, there are some big bass in that lake.

I'm 5 minutes from Lake Daniel. It caught 3' of water last week, and with the 30mph winds we've had the past few days, I bet it is a mudhole.

Was there a few weeks ago and yes, it is extremely muddy. The bass I caught we all white as can be. All the trees were pretty shallow but with it catching 3 foot im sure they look very good now.

I live just a couple of miles (straight line distance) from Daniels. It has not gone dry again. Use to be some really good yellow cat in there.

I think I may have fished at Peeler's Pier some years back and you were there. The creek was running pretty swift, I caught a cat and you almost went in dipping it up. That creek is almost all dry now.
