The past year or more it's been so surreal ... about every other month, a total stranger will park in my driveway, come to my door and ask me how much I want for my boat.

There's not a for sale sign on my boat. Granted, I usually keep her in the driveway, but is that a 'sign' to boat buyers that a boat is for sale, or are used boat buyers having that much trouble finding a boat?

Is someone from the TFF posting my boat on Craigslist without telling me?? hmmm

Maybe it's a sign that you aren't using it enough. The people are driving buy and never see the boat gone so figure you aren't using it much! LOL!
I'd be carefull though they may just be using the "is the boat forsale" line just to check out your home or even the boat to see how hard it would be to steal.
Can't be too careful these days.
Had a guy down the street move into the neighborhood, and a few days later he came over and asked me if my boat was for sale. When I said no he acted as though he were offended. Good thing he didn't offer me a price! LOL!

Just one more cast!

Hmmm--
I had a friend three days ago said someone came to her door and her if her travel trailer was for sale.
It was behind her parked car and also did not have a sign on it.
I think its someone casing you out, or just seeing if anyone ws home.

Very Weird.

Yeah, that thought has run through my head. Whenever someone I don't know comes to the door, I always go outside & close the door behind me so we talk in the front yard ... on the other hand, our neighborhood is very safe. By 'safe' I mean car left in driveway with windows rolled down for days at a time.

Ah well ... time to put the electrified wire on the boat & trailer!! smile

I wish I had a dollar for every time someone asked if my '84 Dodge Rampage was for sale!

Maybe your wife is putting the sign up there while you're asleep.

Somebody stops about once a month to ask if my jeep or one of my boats are for sale. Guess I need to put up a not for sale sign.
