Let me clarify. Wasn't a shotgun start but all anglers were allowed to leave at 7 so it felt like it. I got to my first fishing spot and could barely stop shaking. Adrenaline rush!!!! Glad I missed it. Lol. Good to meet you today Barrett.

It was the craziest scene I have ever been a part of and that is saying something. 100 boats drag racing to their spots! Glad I have a fast boat. It. Took a half hour for me to stop shaking from adrenaline. Other than small working man tournaments I have never been part of a race to your hole at a certain time.
Dangerous decision by the tournament director. They should have just said go to your hole after 5:30 and first cast is 7:00.

Yes and just like a 10 boat shotgun start, it's dangerous.

100 might be a bit much, I was in one a couple years ago JC Outdoors, caught it on video. Was good fun, we were in a fast Triton, but there were faster Bullets with 300's.

I thought it was bad too. We just sat back and watched for a minute. We launched at buck with probably 35-40 boats and it looked dangerous to us. We saw a couple close calls there.

The scene at Buck Creek was ridiculous, 50 boats trying to run through a 50 yard opening under the railroad bridge with concrete pilings, I knew someone was going to crash, that was poor planning from the tourney director, other than that it just plain sucked for us, don't ever tell me the wind is your friend.
