We was wanting to put green led lights on our pontoon boat, Im just not sure which ones would be the brightest to attract bait. I found these on amazon, would these be good? Or if anyone knows where I can get some better ones, please let me know. I want to install them myself to save money,
Thanks

PM and email returned.
..

Make sure the LEDs are waterproof and they dont use the cheap pc boards that will pull apart.
I also use a cover over the top of the leds that doesnt let them yellow in the sun.
I have gone to a super strong automovive 3M foam tape. Once they are attached they are good to go.
I also offer a lifetime limited warranty on my lights.

Thank you,
Shawn Smith

look for 5050 leds they are brighter than the 3528. If you look in the picture section I have a DIY led fishing light. you can see the links to ebay where i got the lights cheap. I am going to use the same type of light to put under my toon. I ordered white and just need to get them installed.

I got the 3528, but the 600leds twice as many as the 50/50 300led
I seen a picture of a boat with the same lights I got , and it was bright!

Where do most people mount the lights at on a pontoon boat, on the side rail , or under the deck? Wouldnt the water/waves knock them off under the deck?

Here is where I put mine--works real well pulling in shad.

Looks good, I didnt know how good they would work not facing straight down towards the water.

You may also want to give Dez at Supernova a call, he has done quite a bit of research on the LED light, and offers s great warranty. Here is his website, good luck!

Are your lights facing outwards or down towards the water.

They are facing outward but the boat sits so low in the water that the lights are pretty close to the water
