Can you guys give me some info on what the difference between these two (sportsman series II and pro series II) are besides the paint and the two piece mounting bracket??? Just looking for some pros and cons on each.

The pro series will program to your iPhone. And I think it has a longer warranty on the pump.(key word (think) I called power pole when I bought mine and the dude told me the sportsman II was the best bang for the buck.

Good luck

The electric motor for both is same. The pumps are NOT. The pro series pump is a quiter, more durable pump. Hence PP backing it with a better warranty. The sportsman II has lesser quality pump that is made by a different company that the pump used in the pro, signature, and blade series. The pumps in the sportman's are significatnly lounder than than the pumps in the pro's and this seems to be the biggest issue people have with them. You won't find this info posted on any web site, but talk to some of the dealers and they will tell you. Now with that said, the performance seems to be good on both and there aren't many complaints on either models as far as their ability to grab and hold.

This exactly what I was told by the folks that would know. The Sportsman II pump has a bypass valve that basically whines and pops. Also the paint finish is a little less durable.

Different pump
Two year warranty difference on Pro

Slightly different mount on Sportsman, uses same adapter plate

I have the sportsman IIs and have zero problems... The pumps have a little more sound than the ones in Cody's boat (blades). But as far as function they work the same and the C monster makes for a very easy install.

Defiantly get the C monster foot switch.

Good Luck

I have had a set of original Sportsman and the new Sportsman 2 with zero issues. Very easy to install yourself. Noiser than the Pro pumps. The Sportsman 2 has C Monster control and will work on wireless phones, wireless foot switches, and wireless dash switch.

Hydrilla Gear is a member on here and sold me mine shipped to my house at a very good price. Had them in two days.

Hope this helps...
