thumb I love using my ultra (micro-light really) light set up to fish with...I was trying to catch some crappie one time at the base of the Lewisville dam and I hooked into a 26" hybrid...6# test line...that was fun! I'll try to find the pic and post it when I get to work...
I have a Fenwick HMG, 5'6" UL rod with a BPS extreme UL reel with 4# and 6# test line...my FAVOURITE setup to fish with... I had 2# test braid on it, but that proved to be more trouble than it was worth...
Tight lines...

Fly tier (yeah, I can fly fish...but the fish don't like frothy water!)

The Rio run will start very soon. thumb Baring any major cold fronts I would say the creek Rios should be on the move by early May. hmmm I would also say the same for the lakes. eeks After these last two fronts the Rios have flat disappeared on the Comal and the river lakes. hide2
