First of all I don't have a wife. It is obvious you haven't met me in person. Those COWBOY boots are mine and are size 13 EE. So I know you aren't talking about me

 These are my wife's size 6 And my size 9 1/2 feet and I still can love and control my iPilot at ease!!! Yes I'm on vacation....I've gotta get out of the house  Crocks bought at Walmart on isle #4

Really would like to get an i pilot Terrova 101 but I am worried about how the foot control works when working the shallow water fishing.
Does anybody have any experince with it?

It will not react as fast as a cable foot control or a hand control.
I fish some shallow water at times and have never had a problem, but, I pay attention to the depth finder.
Except for the time I broke the shaft on a famous Lure Guys 101.
It ain't easy making it look easy.
