I use the panfish assas. and 1/16 jig heads under to lights on the piers and get tired of catching trout. Only problem its hard to get keepers.

i guess we will have to just check around when we get there. will check the fishing reports, maybe that will give us an idea as to which pier to fish for a few keepers

If you want to stay closer to corpus, Indian Point pier is also a good option for late afternoons, early evening.

headed to port aransas and rockport thursday hows the pier fishing? anybody got any good sugestions? looking for something that is not high off the water for the little ones to fish also. am planning on using shrimp and mullet, is this o.k?
