 Awesome end to an awesome day!

After spending the day with my family at church, Easter lunch and an egg hunt my little girl wanted to go fishing! I hooked up the boat and we headed to the lake. After a stop at the store for a Icey and some candy we were back on the road. We were on the water around 6:30, I drew a blank at our first stop and wasted to much time. At our second stop I dropped a jig and as soon as my line got tight BANG I had a solid 2# fish, Lilly was screaming "let me reel it in Daddy"!!! After we played with the fish for a bit and got him in the cooler I dropped in again and felt my jig get heavy. Soon number 2 was in the boat (repeat previous events Lol). Things got quiet after that so we move to another BP and caught another solid fish on the first drop. As I was putting the fish in the cooler my little girl (5yrs old) says "dad look at that beautiful sun" I looked up and the sun was setting, it almost looked like it was going into the lake. Lilly says "God sure is AWESOME" with a tear in my eye and a choked voice I hugged her and said "yea babe he sure is! We rolled up our lines and set there for a few minutes taking it all in before heading to the truck. We caught a few fish but it's a trip I will always remember. It's funny that we are to teach our kids but I seem to learn a lot from my little girl, the simple things always hit me the hardest. Here are a few pics. Lilly snapped a pic of the sun with my phone not the best pics but all I had was my phone.   Clay

Way to go Clay, its not always about numbers but those moments! They grow up so fast untill you only have a few of these moments to experience.
