Fished with Cox...No tourney, pre fishing for next weeks Open and who is this Michael cat??? Why would you carry the fish around in your livewell, if you are not fishing a tournament or going to eat them ? I just do not understand the mentality of hauling fish around in a livewell just to stroke an ego. I was fixing to ask the same question. I'm lost. TPWD say 30% of the fish that are caught, hauled in the boat and weighed in die. I know you were completely within your rights. But you may have killed those fish. If you are going to put them in your livewell then you might as well eat them.

Look dude relax!...We wanted to document what was shaping up to be a great day...You are damned if you do and damned if you don't around here...If you weigh them, the scale was wrong, if you catch them and don't have pix, it didn't happen...Blah, blah, blah...If Im fishing a tourney its ok to retain the fish for a few hours, since I wasn't its not...GET A LIFE DUDE! These fish were in a brand new Ranger live well in good weather{not 105 outside} they swam away fine!

I asked a question and stated, I did not understand peoples mentality of hauling fish around for pictures. They may have swam away. However, there is a thing called delayed mortality. If you are taking pictures to document the day. Then why not take the picture once the fish is caught and release it then ?

You need to start washing your hands with antibacterial soap, or wearing latex gloves before handling fish too. You wouldn't want to spread germs or virus's

Do any of you talking about delayed mortality blah, blah, blah fish tournaments? In the summer? If you do, then you are far worse on fish than these guys were. Plus, what a man does with his fish (within' the law) is nobody's business but their own.
Coincidence is His way of remaining anonymous.

I'd quit fishing I can no longer wear my tournament jersey, use a step stool, take stringer pictures or fish inside buoys.

I have been blessed over the last year to take some time off...I went on some great fishing trips and really nice hunts with my son...This comes to a schreeching halt tomorrow. I have accepted an great offer with a great company and tomorrow is my first day!
